About Me

Welcome to College, Actually! A personal blog where I post about my life as a freshman in college.

I’m going to post tips and tricks as well but mainly about my life so take from it what you will.

My name is Lilea.

Oh, look! It’s me. At NSULA’s Freshman orientation. Fork ‘Em, demons!

I’m 18 (In a week) and I’m majoring in fine and graphic arts! I LOVE theater and art, I’ve done it my whole life.

A painting I did called ‘Blue Dancer’ A movement piece and sequel to my pride and joy, Yellow Dancer.

Look, here I am doing theater and choir!

Oh, yeah! I’m a model! I’ve been on a billboard before! That was super fun!

I do a LOT of things. I’ve been in swim, basketball, cheer, theater, choir, art, soccer, softball, band, and even golf!
That makes decisions at college SUPER difficult! But I’ll figure it out.

That little guy next to me in the picture? Yeah, that’s my brother. We’ve been best friends since day one! Trip is the best thing in the world. He has the biggest heart, the goofiest smile and sense of humor, and the prettiest puppy-dog eyes(Jealous!)

Speaking of boys in my house, I have a pet bearded dragon! When my brother turned 6 he wanted a turtle more than anything and instead? He got a bearded dragon (The pet store lady said they were easier to take care of). Boy, that’s been a ride! We had Fast for almost 6 years or more before he passed. He would’ve been 66 in lizard years so he lived a good life. Now? Trip has a baby one named Mango. Why Mango? Well mine is named Pizza, and we decided to keep the food theme going.

I’m trying to register him as an ESA for college. Why is he an ESA? Well, I’ve been diagnosed with autism since I was two years old. It’s been a big part of my life since then but a few other mental illnesses like chronic depression have shown up since then. Pizza helps me keep a routine and reminds me of home, where someone who can’t wait to dote on me and take care of me is waiting.

My mom. Super-Mom. Momma-Bear. My mom is THE BEST! She’s the sweetest woman in the world! She would never hurt a fly (Unless it hurt a kid, doesn’t even have to be one of hers, honestly.) She’s protective of everyone, optimistic, and always sees the silver-lining first!

I have a pretty great family. My mom, stepdad, brother, and pets.
I’m a really lucky girl.

An artist, Big sister, and now,

NSU DEMON
